Hiking 3 miles...nothing...hiking 3 miles straight uphill...sure torture (to most, or at least the day after)...glad everyone survived the trip!

July 4th: Lake Blanche & Party at Betsy's House
Hiking 3 miles...nothing...hiking 3 miles straight uphill...sure torture (to most, or at least the day after)...glad everyone survived the trip!
Bake off at Betty's! Then awesome Fireworks. Overall, it was a great Independence Day!
Floating in the Great Salt Lake

Little did we know what it would smell like.
Once we traveled further into Antelope Island, the smell was not as bad. And it was beautiful!
We loved floating in the salty water.
We saw a real buffalo, and others that were not so real.
Our beach friend.
It was a fun day, but we didn't like hiking through the spider webs to get to the shore to eat our picnic. We would suggest visiting earlier in the year to avoid the nasty gnats too.
